This is what I call a foam board painting, replacing traditional canvas with foam board.
The canvas replacement is an industrial material used for home insulation, here mounted on a wood stretcher like frame.
A composition of metal insulating tape, and other fragments of foam board are organized as a background on which paint and foil leaf are applied.
