Made this piece for the 2025 Chinati weekend, Marfa United Studio Tour exhibit, October 10–15, 2025. Three days of work with welder Mia Valentini, Boxcar Welding, Marfa, TX
With little intervention, Juniper was fabricated from the scrap resources of Mia's welding shop; assorted tubes of steel, various sized plate material, and some miscellaneous items. This manner of working is consistent with my studio sculpture practice.
